Reiki is a gentle holistic healing technique that focuses on balancing the body’s energy. The origins Reiki are rooted in ancient Japanese culture. Pronounced “ray-kee,” the word can be translated from Japanese to English as “universal life energy.” Universal life force energy flows through all living being and is vital to good physical, emotional, and spiritual health. During a Reiki session, I act as a channel for the universal life energy, using a gentle laying-on-of-hands technique to deliver it to the energy points (chakras) within the recipients body.
