Vegetable growing doesn’t have to be complex, nor does it have to be expensive. If its something you’ve always wanted to try but don’t know where to start, then this is the workshop for you. We’ll talk you through the basics of starting a vegetable plot, whether its containers on a balcony or a large allotment plot, we’ll help you to get started. We’ll set you up for success by talking you through crops and varieties that are best suited to our climate, take you through planting calendars and how to best maximise the space you have. From seed sowing to harvesting, we’ve got you covered, and we will send you away with a pile of resources to support you as you start your “grow your own” journey.  11am – 1pm Sunday 5th May  £20 per person.
